Our Azalas have finally bloomed. We have pink and white in the front and pink in the back.

Reed LOVES, did I mention LOVES to be outside. We spend hours out daily when the weather is nice. We had a couple of rainy and then really wet days this past weekend, so finally yesterday we were able to get back out.

Spring has Sprung!

We are finally in the season of Spring here. It felt like it was never going to come. We would have a warmer day here and there, but then back to the chilly. BUT now it is wonderful weather day after day. The grass, trees, and bushes have all been leafing out and blooming. It has been lots of fun bc we have no idea what is going to pop up here in the new house. Everyday there is a new bloom somewhere. It is exciting to see what colors are popping up. Here a few pics of the beautiful Spring.

Flash Back Friday

Last year Reed and I had taken our first trip without daddy to go to TX and find us a place to rent. We had lots of fun with Nana and Poppop. Reed had his first bluebonnet pic. He was so little. Ahh, the pain in my heart. Why is it they must get bigger? Enjoy! And oh how I miss me some Bluebonnets.

Nick Jr. Live

Reed and I went to see Nick Jr. Live this past weekend. We went with Reed's bff's family the Fords. Parker and Reed really enjoyed the show. He was a bit scared at the start but warmed up. After the show we had lunch on Beale street. Then headed home where he feel asleep after about 10 minutes in the car. Way too much fun.

21 Months!

This year.....

Last year...

OMG my baby turned 21 months this week. In only a few more I will stop counting months and switch to years, as I think this is what people do. Reed has had a busy month. He had lots of visitors, and soooo many personal developments. Here is a list of what he is up to.

He weighs 24 lbs.
He is wearing 18 and 24 month shirts but 12 or 18 month pants size 6 shoe
He can name and recognize the following letters out of order:
A,C,D,E,F,G,H,I,J,K,M,N,O,P,Q,R,S,T,Y and sometimes Z

He recognizes and says: Purple,yellow, star
he can also say blue but doesn't always match it yet.
he is working very hard on his numbers too

He hates: shoes, socks, diaper changing, not getting what he wants, the trains not doing what he wants them to

Easter 2010

Last night we started the Easter festivities off with some egg decorating and dying. Reed destroyed his eggs as he decorated. They were sooooo pretty.

Easter morning the Easter Bunny left all kinds of goodies. He is saying "eggs" in the pic.

He dumped all the grass out of his basket and said, "oh no!" with a perfect O mouth.

We had a fab Easter, and well it's not even over yet. Reed was allllll about hunting eggs. He is a pro, a true hunter and gatherer. He loved the truck and train that the Easter Bunny left for him. We headed to the park for a picnic lunch and some kite flying. Then home to nap, and then playing in the backyard. The weather is beyond beautiful. The windows in our house have been open for days. All the trees and flowers are in bloom. I love fall, but I must say that Spring is coming in for a close second this year. Nick is making Easter shaped mac and cheese as I type and hamburgers for us grown ups. Oh and I am typing this sitting in my lovely treed backyard watching Reed push his new truck around.
