Chase-N-Mommy

I have declared today that Reed is walking,and well chasing too. I was trying to take pictures of him in his stylish shirt made by me and it turned into q game. It ended up being some cute pics of him, but not the shirt.





Last year on this date: Reed took his first nap in his big boy bed. Awwww! And my how things have changed.

Beach, bumps and being with family

We left last Wed. for the beach. We joined my mom,dad, brother and his girlfriend at Mustang Island Beach. The weather was wonderful. Reed enjoyed his little bit of beach time. He had been diagnosed with Rosieola the Tues. before we left, so we didn't take him out that much in the sun. Enjoy the pics.

Passed out in Mom and Dad's bed after a night of being up sick. Mommy even drove up and down the island at 1:30am to put me back to sleep. But don't worry I was up again at 3:30 until 5. Then mommy had to wake me at 9:30 to head back home. When we got home Daddy took me to the Dr. and the Dr. said, "I think he has strep."

What I have been up to

I know I blog about Reed a lot and not that he doesn't deserve the spot light ALL the time. But today I wanted to share a little Katie note. As most of you know I taught Kindergarten for 6 years before staying home with my main man. I am not going to lie, I miss teaching, using my brain and being creative. So lately I have been doing more crafting. People keep telling I should sell my crafts. I have sold a couple of my letters, but mostly I make my letters and now shirts as gifts, or for friends. I have been toying with the idea of getting a store at www.etsy.com. So anyway I wanted to share with you some pics, and if anyone needs something made, I am your chic. Smiles,Katie

Reed is 1 !

On Reed's birthday we spent the day having family fun. Daddy made his cake, we went swimming, and played with new toys. It was a great day. And mommy only cried once. I can't believe that he is one. We went to the doctor today. He weighs 21 lbs. He is in the 50% for his height and the 25% for his weight. He is sooooo close to walking. He takes about 5 or 6 steps at a time. We are pretty sure he is saying "dada". He loves Peas and pretty much any green veggie and any type of fruit. We will start the process of getting rid of the bottles now. Still can't beleive he is one.

Reed's First Hair Cut

Reed had his first hair cut today, and looks even more grown up now. You could say that he was NOT a fan of the experience.
