How is that little baby?

So I have decided that it is time to put away Reed's swing and bounce chair. It makes me very sad that he is one step closer to a big boy and not a baby. The swing is swinging slowly on the fastest speed. I think someone weighs a little too much. The bounce chair says to not let children sit in it who can sit up on their own. Reed really still likes to sit in it and play with the toy bar, bc he can finally reach the toys. As much as he still enjoys it , I am afraid that e is going to flip it over in a moment of fun. So once again I am whinning about the fact that he is getting too big. Does anyone know where I can buy on e of those bricks to go on his head?

Reed has started taking the greatest long naps. YEAH! One way I know how long he is going to sleep has to do with what position he is sleeping in. The position in the picture ( on tummy, face smashed in pup pup, butt in air and head crammed into crib bumper ) means that it is going to be a good nap. I wanted badly to go in and get the picture but did not dare to wake him. So I just laughed and stook a pic on the monitor.

Flashback Friday

Ok, so everyone is doing flashback Fridays. I wanted to do one too, but my prob is that I don't have a scanner, so I can only flashback so far at this time. Here is Nick and I in New Orleans for our first anniversary . Wow we look so young and that was just a couple of years ago. Man I feel old. Maybe I don't like flashback Fridays anymore.

As most of you know we have 3 dog children and one cat child in addtion to Reed. They were the loves of our lives before Reed came. Many people said that we would be giving them the boot after Reed arrived, and I agreed to disagree. Well here we sit 7 months later and guess who is right along Reed running the roost. Yep , that would be Daisy, Hemmingway and Schultz, oh and don't forget Hadley. Yes, a zoo you might call it. I do so many blogs about Reed that I thought that today would belong to the animals. So here is to you; my barking, shedding, slobbering , eat anything best compainions in the world. You guys love me more than any human ever will. Justa swing'n

Reed got a new swing today. He really enjoyed it. See what happens when we get weather in the 60's, we go crazy and start buying outside play things. Crazy us! Enjoy the pictures. The first couple are just Reed playing inside, sitting big and playing alone. What a big boy.

Playdate with Houston

Reed and I had a play date with Houston and his sweet mommy Bronwen. We went to lunch and then hit the park because the weather was wayyyyyy too pretty to stay in. Houston enjoyed the play ground while Reed napped in his stroller. Maybe next time Reed can get a run down the slide. It was a great day and felt soooo great to be outside. Enjoy the pictures of two of the most precious boys. Mr. Houston- Why can't I have lips like these?

Silly Dragon
