Happy Halloween from the McKinney's

On this day...

This morning I woke up to the precious baby boy in these pictures. One year ago today I would have never thought that the appointment that I had at 8:30 am would give me such a gift. Through our struggles of having a baby there were days that getting out of bed to be ME without being a mommy was beyond painful. On this morning last year I was attempting my second IUI (Inter Uterine Insemination), the first had failed the month before and was just devastating. So today for me is so very special because this was the day that my angel was made. Some of you may think I am crazy to celebrate the day my child was conceived, but to to me it is the second best day in my life. The first of course being his birth of course. I also must say that to all the mommies - cherish it all. To the the people wanting to be mommies, I can't say the right words to you, because I know that no one person said words that comforted me. All I can say to you is that you are an amazing person and the struggle you are going through will make you a new person. So I have posted a couple of pictures to remember what this day one year ago has brought to my world. Happy Baby this morning.

Reed is a puppy for Halloween. We took him to Zoo Boo last Friday. He was by far the cutest baby there.

We took Reed to the Farm Patch and enjoyed the pumpkins! "Umm...Did you just leave me here?"

Reed in College Station

Reed has really been enjoying his trip to College Station. We have been all over town seeing some very important people and places. Tomorrow will be his sip and see party at Nana and Pawpaw's so I will post some of those pictures soon. Enjoy!

1st Trip to the Zoo

Reed went to the zoo today for Hudson's 2nd birthday. He had a great time at the party watching all the crazy kidos. After the party we had a stroll around the zoo and Reed fell asleep and missed all the animals. Nick and I enjoyed them. After the animals Reed woke up and we bought a cool new book as a souvenir. The weather was beautiful. I am sure that I will start to make many trips to the zoo as the weather is getting cooler and Reed is getting more alert.

What is that noise?

On Friday I was in the kitchen and heard lots of rattling and music coming from the living room all of the sudden. I went in there and this is what I found. Little man had a hold of a toy and was having the best time making lots of racket.
