Happy Halloween!
Here are our babies ready for Halloween. Daisy is a chicken, and not to happy about it. Hemi is a bee, and tooooo happy about it, that is why I couldn't even get him to take a good picture. He thought thathis costume was a leash and that we were going on a walk.

He is offically our BAD dog!!!
Hemmingway is now a McKinney. Which as you know entitles him to lots of spoiling and vet bills. We signed and mailed his paper this weekend right before he did his worst BAD dog thing ever. I was walking him on a new halter that was supposed to keep him from pulling and snap it broke and he was gone. I mean gone. Thanks to our neighbors we caught him about 45 minutes later after we drove a couple miles and he ran several miles. To say the least he has raw pads on all four of his paws. He walking around the house on his tip toes which is pretty funny. I am also a bit sore due to the running that I don't normally do. Here are pictures of Hemi and his paper work, and him on the computer.

A Day of Hiking!
We went hiking today in the beautiful weather. It was almost chilly in the shade. We dedicated this trip to Hemmingway because it was his first hike as part of our family. We all hiked about 3 miles, and then stopped for lunch. Then Hemi's favorite part was the lake. Nick put him on the long lead and he ran the banks hunting for birds. As you can see the line was a bit of a mess at times. So here are a couple of pictures of our big day.

Bunko Baby!
We had our first Bunko of the year. The Bunko group is made up of 8 girls that I taught with when I first moved to Memphis. We are all at different schools now, so it is great fun to all get together. I was worried that I was going to have bad luck playing, because on my way to work that morning I got a speeding ticket. But I won big! Yeah me!

Flip The Kitchen Day 3!
Well we have made some big changes. Nick has turned out to be quite the Handy Man. Although he doesn't wear his pants low enough to be a real plumber. We added a back splash out of tin, and a new sink and faucet. The material is what the curtains will be made of and I have the same for the bar stools. Enjoy the before and after pics.

Back to School!
We both have gone back to school. I to the little Kindergarteners and Nick to the big college kids. I have 15 sweet babies in my class. Yep I said only 15! I continue to love my new school. We also have a couple of new foster dogs in our house. Hemmingway is an English Pointer and Schultz a Weimeramer. Our beloved Gatsby passed away in July and it has been great to have the pitter patter of dogs in the house again. We miss him bunches and he will never be replaced.
