Happy Father's Day!

We spent Father's Day weekend relaxing and having a bit of fun. We swam on Sat. and then went over to my parents on Sun. for more swimming and dinner. Nick enjoyed his first fathers day. Reed bought him matching hats, a train set , and a tunnel. It was a great weekend.

We made it!

We arrived in College Station last Friday. We have settled in and are busy enjoying ourselves. We have been swimming a couple of times and Reed seems to LOVE it. He was wonderful on our long drive here. Not a tear one. I couldn't believe it. He slept, watched DVDs, and played all the way here. Here are a ton of picture to enjoy.

A trip to the zoo with good new friends before we left.

A bad hair day.
A dinner date with Rheagan before we headed out of town.

A visit from Gandma and Joe Edward before we moved too far to drive for them.
Reed's first balloon from Red Robin.

Going away...coming back party!

We went to Salsa this week to celebrate our leaving to Texas. We had lots of fun. It was all my HOE friends and their hubby's. I will miss them all and our monthly Bunko games (if we even get around to playing). Thanks girls for a fun night.

10 Things I love about being a Reed's Mommy

1. The way he loves me.

2. The way he smells.

3. Showing him new things.

4. He is all mine!

5. His blue blue eyes.

6. He looks like his Daddy.

7. His kisses.

8. His funny faces.

9. First and all smiles.

10. Pure LOVE.

As a little girl I always wanted to be a mommy. When the time came to become a mommy I was devastated that I was possibly not going to be a mommy. And now that I am a mommy I can't even write about it with out a tear in my eye. I am sooooo blessed to be given the privilege. I wish all moms and future moms out there a very blessed Mother's Day.

Ruba dub dub

Here is a cute little snip of Reed in the tub. It was taken a couple weeks back before he could stand up. Now we are in and out of the tub because it is a battle of standing up the whole time. So we scrub and get out. No fun playtime for this phase. I hope it moves on soon. I want to play in the tub again.
